Staccato® Automated Systems The Staccato Series of systems provide fast and reliable scalable automation for today's drug discovery , genomics, proteomics and drug development laboratories. Staccato systems are available in three base configurations; Mini Workstation Series, Application Series and Custom Systems Series.

Staccato Mini-Workstations offer the minimal amount of equipment to automate basic liquid handling and material management tasks. Staccato Application Series are pre-configured and pre-integrated solutions to common applications such as plate reformatting & replication, hit picking, ELISA and a variety of cell based assays. A hallmark capability of Caliper has always been our ability to provide highly tailored custom solutions. Staccato Custom Systems utilize proven automation friendly building blocks that are designed into custom configurations as dictated by our users.

All Staccato Application & Custom Series systems are controlled with Caliper's time proven CLARA™ assay development and schedule planning software. More laboratories use CLARA than any other system automation software. CLARA seamlessly ties together robots, incubators, readers, washers and other devices into one cohesive environment making Staccato systems highly effective tools for increasing laboratory productivity and improved quality. Staccato Mini-Workstations can use either CLARA or iLink™ Caliper's method development and run-time interface for end-users.
